1. Information We Collect

We collect different categories of information depending on how you interact with our Services:

1.1 Chrome Extension

The Extension collects limited information only after obtaining your consent:

Consent First

When you first install the Extension, you'll see a consent popup that:

  • Asks for your agreement to Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (required)
  • Requests optional consent for anonymous analytics (you can decline)
  • Provides equal prominence “Reject All” and “Accept Selected” buttons
  • Blocks Extension access until you make your choice

If you consent to analytics, we collect:

  • Usage Data: Anonymous analytics data including feature usage patterns (only if you consent)
  • Analytics Identifiers: Randomly generated client ID stored locally (not associated with any personal information)

Full Control

You can change your analytics consent at any time in Extension settings. Disabling analytics immediately stops all data collection and deletes your analytics ID.

Privacy First

The Extension does NOT collect:

  • Your name or email address
  • Browsing history or websites you visit
  • Content of webpages you capture
  • IP addresses or personal identifiers
  • Any data when you send error reports

1.2 Web Application

When you create an account or use our web services, we collect:

  • Account Information: Email address (provided through Google Sign-In)
  • Authentication Data: Google authentication tokens and user ID
  • Subscription Information: Subscription status, payment history (processed by LemonSqueezy)
  • Usage Analytics: Page views, feature usage, session duration (via Plausible Analytics)
  • Geographic Location: Country level only, derived from web analytics

Note

The Chrome Extension does not collect any geographic location data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • Service Provision: To provide, maintain, and improve our Services
  • Account Management: To create and manage user accounts, authenticate users, and provide customer support
  • Payment Processing: To process transactions and send transaction-related communications
  • Communications: To send service updates, security alerts, and support messages
  • Analytics and Improvements: To understand usage patterns, diagnose technical problems, and improve our Services
  • Legal Compliance: To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service
  • Security: To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues

3. Analytics and Tracking Technologies

We use different analytics services for our Extension and Web Application:

3.1 Chrome Extension - Google Analytics

The Extension uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data only after you provide explicit consent:

No Tracking Without Consent

Analytics are completely disabled by default. We only track the following if you explicitly opt-in:

  • Anonymous client identifier (randomly generated, stored locally)
  • Session duration and frequency
  • Feature usage events
  • Extension version and browser information

Privacy Protection

Even with analytics enabled, we do not track which websites you visit, the content of PDFs you create, or any personally identifiable information through the Extension.

3.2 Web Application - Plausible Analytics

Our website uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service that:

  • Does not use cookies
  • Does not collect personal data or IP addresses
  • Does not track users across websites
  • Is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR
  • Provides only aggregated statistics

Privacy Guarantee

Neither the Extension nor the Web App collects IP addresses. All analytics are anonymous and privacy-preserving.

4. Data Storage and Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

  • Processed entirely within your browser using client-side JavaScript
  • Never transmitted to or stored on our servers
  • Saved directly to your local device or cloud storage provider of your choice
  • Not accessible to us at any point during or after creation

Privacy by Design

Our architecture ensures that document content remains exclusively under your control. We never see or store your PDFs, browsing history, or any personal content.

7.1 Extension Consent Process

When you install the Chrome Extension:

  • Toggle off “Usage Analytics” under Privacy settings
  • Your analytics client ID is immediately deleted
  • No further data is collected from that point forward
  • Previously collected anonymous data cannot be linked back to you

7.3 Consent Records

We maintain records of consent status locally in your browser. We do not store consent records on our servers for the Extension, maintaining your privacy while ensuring compliance with regulations.

8. Additional Provisions

8.1 International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers and databases located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure that your personal information remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

8.2 Children's Privacy

If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@fullpagepdf.com.

8.3 Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers have incorporated “Do Not Track” (DNT) features. Most of these features, when turned on, send a signal or preference to the websites you visit indicating that you do not wish to be tracked. Because there is not yet a common understanding of how to interpret DNT signals, we do not currently respond to DNT signals.

8.4 Third-Party Links

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third parties.

8.5 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Effective Date” at the top. For material changes, we will provide notice through the Services or by email. Your continued use of the Services after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

8.6 Severability

If any provision of this Privacy Policy is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of this Privacy Policy will remain in full force and effect.

8.7 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from this Privacy Policy shall be resolved according to the dispute resolution procedures outlined in our Terms of Service.
